Disassembly of the Thermo Fisher SGD-O system is only allowed by specific licensees with particular conditions on their agreement state license. Generally licensed entities are not allowed to separate the source housing from the device, nor are they allowed to maintain, repair, or replace device components. NSSI’s fully trained field service engineers are allowed to perform these services along with beam alignment, shutter repair, initial radiation gauge surveys and other non-routine maintenance and repair.
